Dear Patrons, Supporters & Friends,

Mothers have the power to give life . . . You have the power to change life.

On the evening of Sunday November 9, 2014, Share and Care Foundation will be hosting its 32nd Annual Gala, SHAKTI: A Dance & Music Spectacular, spotlighting our Signature Program: Inspiring Change – Empowering Women.

The event will help fund this as well as other signature programs such as Educate 2 Graduate – E2G, Educate 2 Success – E2S, Healthcare 2 Unreached – H2U, and Women Empowerment (WE). These programs have helped India’s weaker sector of children and women achieve their full potential.

Rudali

Rudali wants the best for her three children and dreams that they will have a healthy and happy future. Yet, the circumstances and condition of their lives denies them the basic needs of survival.

Like thousands around the world, we draw strength from brave Rudali’s example. Her courage is uncommon. In the face of oppression and injustice, she demands education and opportunity. In the face of violence from the hands of cowards, she refuses to back down. Rudali is a testament that women everywhere will not be intimidated into silence. She will make her voice heard. She will speak, no matter how hard it is to do so.

There comes a time in every fight when the stakes are too high to back down. Robert Redford had high praise for the people who moved forward when they could have collapsed . . . when they thought they were failing. Now is such a time, and it’s heartening that Share and Care Foundation has initiated Inspiring Change Empowering Women with passionate intensity, commitment, and skill. As we prepare to honor and empower women, kindly remember the women who have shaped your life: mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, wives, friends, and colleagues.

Our Commitment

Since 1982 to this day, nothing can replicate the feelings that fill your heart when reviewing the impact of millions of dollars in grant programs through the Share and Care Foundation. No other combination of Vision, Value, and Impact on Life will connect in quite the same way.

It all comes down to a zeal for business. For example, our E2G program supports more than 720 needy scholars attending science graduate courses. That means passion for higher education and aspiration for a dignified future for those who are on the lower rung of the ladder. Share and Care feels that each and every member of society is important and deserve the opportunity to be involved and productive in civic life, and each or our programs reflect that value.

Credit goes to you for this transformation. Your guidance and support are vital. Your determination to make a difference is a powerful force. It realizes dreams, builds legacies, shakes up established norms, and challenges conventions. We cast a skeptical eye at the word “impossible,” and we fiercely resist the temptation of complacency.

inspiring womenWe invite you to participate as a sponsor of our Inspiring Change Empowering Women Gala campaign. Or, perhaps you would like your business advertisement inserted into our Inspiring Change Empowering Women Gala souvenir book that will be read in more than 15,000 households across the United States.

We hope to see you on Sunday, November 9, 2014, at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, NJ, to celebrate our 32nd Annual Gala. We are counting on your support. You make a difference. Your gift matters.

Yours truly,

Arun Bhansali, President
Board of Trustees and Management Committee
